Step 1
Give your new axe a custom paint job. If you have a friend in the auto body business, talk him into giving it a spray down in the color of your choice. Don't forget the clear coat. If you're going it alone, find some plastic-binding spray paint at the hardware store and get to work. Use plenty of painter's tape to seal off any areas you don't want painted.
-
Step 2
Forget the stickers that come in the box. Make the controller your own by adding some favorite band stickers or verbiage stickers.
-
Step 3
Make a custom skin for your pick guard using an exacto knife and white contact paper. Draw your own designs using colored pencils and markers. Add a layer of clear contact paper to the top to preserve the design.
-
Step 4
Buy some iron on patches to adorn your guitar strap. Stores like Spencer's and Hot Topic offer a variety of band patches and movie patches.
-
Step 5
Add some bling to your controller with some paste-on jewels. Nothing screams glam rock like a diamond-studded pick guard on a guitar.

on 11/4/2008 Thanks for the tips but most of the kids laughed at me when i suggested these tips. I am a Flash actionscript programmer, and my son and others are talking about hacking into the systems and changes songs.
Thanks for the tips though
