How to Use File Share in Halo 3

Halo 3 is such a favorite among game players that a relatively new service called "file share" is offered so that they can share tips and info about specific aspects or levels of the game. Screenshots and saved films are placed in the online storage provided by a service called Bungie. Here's how to use file share in Halo 3.

Instructions

    • 1

Use the "Saved Film" option first. You can only do this after playing Halo 3 for a while. Once you get to a stopping point, push the "Back" button and then punch the "X" button to save the footage of your game-play up to that point.

    • 2

Review the footage that has been saved and/or rename it whatever you want. There is only one camera view. However, the Beta will see an increased changed in the amount of space for the individual saved films as well as more options regarding camera view, such as a zooming feature.

    • 3

Access saved film on Bungie servers or share your gameplay footage. Just highlight the Gamertag or name of the person whose footage you would like to view. This can be done anytime during the game without having to restart the game.

    • 4

Enter whatever length footage into the 25MB file share storage space. You may fill it up however you wish. You can save and share multiple short clips of video or an uninterrupted piece of film.
