Vaginoplasty is a surgery performed on female genitalia. This surgery allows a woman who has weakened vaginal muscles from childbirth to regain the strength she once had in this area. It can improve sexual relations and add spark to a couple's love life. While a man may not see anything wrong with his wife's genitalia, issues such as this can be very hurtful to a woman's self-esteem.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Explain to your husband why you want to get the surgery. He needs to understand that the surgery will make you feel better about your body and your sex life. Make sure that you list the benefits for both of you and that he understands that this option can make your sex life as great as it was before you gave birth. Let him know that this surgery will help strengthen the muscles that were weakened during childbirth, that you have done everything that you can via exercise and that surgery is your only option left.

  2. Step 2

Listen to your husband's feelings on the subject. You may be surprised by his reaction to the news of a better or enhanced sex life. If he still feels uncertain, you can try your best to calm his fears by giving him literature to read and encouraging him to speak to your doctor.

  3. Step 3

Express your concern for his feelings and let him know that you won't make any drastic decision without discussing it with him further, if the two of you have not come to an agreement on the subject during the initial discussion.
