5
Take scuff marks off vinyl flooring with steel wool. Gently rub the scuff mark with a wet steel wool soap pad, wipe the residue away with a damp sponge and dry.

6
Prepare garden tools for storage. Use fine steel wool (000) and household oil to clean the metal parts of shovels, spades, hoes, shears and other garden implements. Wipe them clean, sharpen them and then apply a little oil before storing them away form the winter.

Tips & Warnings
Contrary to popular believe, steel wool is not the best thing to clean stainless steel. The fine wool fibers may scratch the surface and cause rusting. Clean stainless steel with a sponge and soap and water.
