Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Look for scars. For breast augmentation, scars will typically appear on the underside of the nipple or on the bottom of the breast itself. Sometimes the implant is placed via the arm pit, so there could be a hairline scar in that area. If the implant was placed via navel, it might be harder to determine.
Step2
Pay attention to the roundness of the breasts. The top half of the breast should not be perfectly rounded to match the bottom. Natural breasts have more of a teardrop shape to them.
Step3
Note the feel of the breasts. Natural breasts are comprised mostly of fatty tissue and feel soft. Implants generally feel firm, especially when they are saline-filled.
Step4
Observe the entire body, not just the breasts. If the body frame is small and she has large breasts that look out of proportion to the rest of her, chances are she's been modified.
Step5
Check for symmetry. Natural breasts are never exactly the same size or shape. After breast enhancement, the breasts are identical.
Step6
Look at how far apart the breasts are. If there is an unnaturally wide space between the breasts, they are probably not natural.
Step7
View the sides of the breast for a scalloped appearance. Larger implants can sometimes ripple the skin.
Step8
Scan for signs of movement when she moves or lays down. Enhanced breasts tend to stay in the same place, where as natural breasts move or lay flat.
