  2. Step 2

    Study your user guide and use the built-in product support for Quattro Pro. Corel includes a user-friendly "Help" feature with the Quattro software that can answer most questions, and the user guide provides helpful information.

  3. Step 3

    Go to Corel's website and find community and support features to help you with questions you may have about Quattro Pro. Corel offers great guides and forums at their website to give you tons of information about Quattro Pro.

  4. Step 4

    Take a course that will help you navigate the Quattro Pro spreadsheet program. All computer users need to upgrade their skills periodically, and when changing over to Quattro Pro, users need specific training. The best way to get it is to sign up for a class or hire a master trainer to come to your company and work with you. Brainstorm, Inc. offers online and in-person training.

  5. Step 5

    Join Corel's newsgroup and get up-to-the-minute information about what other end-users are doing and ask questions about how they did it. This is free and provides some of the best information out there on Quattro Pro.

on 4/14/2009 Quattro Pro is not an "updated version of Excel". They are two different spreadsheet programs from two different manufacturers.
