How to Get Tickets to the Dodge Avenger 500

Ready to go to the races? Dying to see Jeff Gordon defend his seven-year winning stretch? Plan now for the 2008 Dodge Avenger 500 at Darlington Speedway in South Carolina. This event has sold out the last three years, so reserve your tickets now for the first race at the recently repaved track.

1. Contact the Darlington Raceway ticket office at 1-866-459-7223 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
2. Purchase official tickets at the racetickets.com website. These are guaranteed official tickets right from the racetrack, and with no markup.
3. Find tickets in your price range and area that you want to sit. The cost is $95 for tickets in Tyler, rows 1-25, New Brasington Tower, rows 1-29 and Pearson, rows 1-41. Expect to pay $45 per seat in Colvin, rows 3-14. For a seating chart, look at the darlingtonraceway.com website.
4. Look into prerace activities at the Darlington Raceway website. Make plans to attend the whole weekend of events, including the Diamond Hill Plywood 200 Busch Series on Friday. General grandstand seating is $30 for adults and just $5 for children 12 and under with a ticketed adult. Reserved seating is also available for $35.
