The Japanese Hanami festival celebrates the blooming of the cherry trees in spring. The festivals can include music, theater and lights. The festivals are held around the world.

  3. Step 3

    Go to the Northern California site and read about the festival held there for 41 years. The schedule for the cherry blossom festival is diverse, and fun for the whole family.

    Explore the JETAA Program of Canada and read about the Hanami festivals held in Ottawa. The Cherry Festival has a wide-ranging schedule of events.

  5. Step 5

  6. Step 6
