Step1
Create a new league by going to the Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball main page. Choose a free league or a plus league. Look at the default settings and keep them if you wish or change them as you want.
Step2
Set out an invite to friends if you have chosen to make a private league. You can also choose to open the league to the public and let anyone who wants to join.
Step3
Use the Commissioner Tools to manage aspects of your leagues. You can edit rosters, lock teams from posting messages or making moves, and change other settings. You can also edit your commissioner's note--a special message to the league that shows up on the main page.
Step4
Pay attention to the message board for your league, as well as the smack talk. You have complete discretion over what can be said in your league, and if an owner is causing problems, you can step in and prevent him from posting messages or smack talk.
Step5
Monitor the trades in your league. It will be up to you to step in and veto a trade if it looks like the trade is lopsided or unfair. Listen to the concerns of the other owners in your league if they have issues with a trade.
Step6
Consider lock transactions and roster moves of the eliminated teams once the playoffs begin. Also consider locking adds and drops for the playoffs teams, at last during the final week. Owners can use adds and drops to cheat and stack their team at the end of the season, so locking transactions eliminates this practice.
