How to Advertise for a Church Fair

Create a buzz, inform and encourage people to join in the festivities of a church fair. A church fair is a wonderful time to come together as a church body, but is also a great time to evangelize and invite others to share in the fun. Spread the word to friends, family and surrounding neighborhoods to invite people to fellowship together in a fun family experience.

Instructions

1. Create a flyer. Design a flyer that clearly illustrates date, time, location and event. To save on cost, print the flyer in black and white, but put on bright colored paper.

2. Design and post a unique poster with all fair details.

3. Distribute flyers. Canvas neighborhoods that are close in proximity and hand out flyers. Also distribute flyers to schools or locally owned businesses like coffee shops or small grocers.

4. Add event details to your church newsletter, current events and bulletin. Be sure to include the whole church body and encourage them to bring friends or family.

5. Post fair details on a billboard or message board. A message or sign encourages the community and keeps people informed while on their way to work, school or leisure.

6. Mail postcards to a specific zip code near your church. You can purchase particular mailing addresses that reach a particular zip code.

7. Post details on your church online website. For your entire web savvy church members; send them an email and link to the church. Also be sure to include Fair details in the online event calendar.
