    • 2

Position massage table in a room wide enough for easy access from all angles. Cover the table with a fitted sheet. Plug in a heating pad and crock pot a few minutes before treatment.

    • 3

Douse 10 wash cloths with water, then roll up and place in a crock-pot to keep warm.

    • 4

Ask the client to undress. Warn her that she should have an extra pair of underwear for after treatment.

    • 5

Wash hands before starting. Have the client lay face-down on the massage table to begin.

    • 6

Exfoliate skin by rubbing sea salt in a circular motion, starting with one side of the body at the legs and moving up to the arms. Ask the client to flip over and repeat on the front side.

    • 7

Remove the body scrub with a warm towel or shower when done.

    • 8

Rub essential oil moisturizer employing the same method used to apply sea salts. Do both sides. Have the client stand and wrap her from legs to torso with plastic wrap.

    • 9

Lay client down and cover with wool blanket. Place heating pad on top of blanket. Promote sweating. Leave on for 15 minutes.

    • 10

Cut client out of body wrap using a safety tip scissors. Use wash cloths to remove sweat and moisturizer from client.

    • 11

Give client water or tea to drink.

I thought this was supposed to be at home but it keeps refering to "Client"--Isn't it unsafe to wrap in plastic wrap? Not a good idea for sure for someone with heart disease or diabetes. I have used a take-home kit, Tropical Spa Body Wraps, that come with a sauna suit and I did it by myself. I lost about 20 inches in the first wrap and had to put their solutions on first but it was relatively easy.
