The days of fumbling with a giant map in the confines of a car are over. With AAA's TripTik, it doesn't matter if you're driving 300 miles or 3,000 miles--a TripTik can be designed specifically for you. It's a small, compact, easy-to-use personalized map.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Look through your TripTik once you receive it to make sure it is accurate to your trip.
Step2
Flip to the first page of your TripTik map as you begin your journey. Follow along with the highlighted line until you reach the end of the page, and then turn to the next page. You can also choose to follow the text directions at the bottom of the page.
Step3
Continue following your TripTik by turning the pages as you go. If you gave your AAA representative addresses for your hotels and other stops, your TripTik should take you turn by turn to the exact location.
Step4
Make plans to stop for bathroom breaks, gas fill-ups, and meals by looking at the TripTik map and noting the letters "G," "F" and "L" marked along the road. G stands for gas, F stands for food and L stands for lodging.
Step5
Check the bottom of each page in your TripTik for notes about possible construction and other delays on the roadway. Plan accordingly for delays and schedule more time if you need it.
Step6
Utilize some of the other tools included in the TripTik, such as the expense log and the state-by-state driving regulations in the back of your book.
