Ask about remote- controlled hobby groups to get more information or find out about used tanks that may be for sale.
2. Shop the online toy superstores, like Trend Times and Hobby Tron. They will never be out of stock, and often the prices are cheaper, since they are mass-produced items. You will be able to get a great price whether you have a store in your area or shop online. Remember to count in shipping costs when comparing online prices to local prices.
3. Shop the used remote-controlled vehicle and auction web sites, such as eBay. You can also check you local classifieds or Craigslist site for additional possibilities. Consider placing a "want" ad in your local paper or on Craigslist to spark the interest of fellow remote-controlled vehicle enthusiasts.
4. Look into purchasing accessories and extra batteries. This may even cost you less initially because of combined pricing offers or holiday sales.
