Check with your local toy and hobby store to see if they carry remote- controlled blimps. They are manufactured by common RC toys companies, such as RC Toys and Hobby Tron. (See Resources, below.)

Shop online. You can shop directly on the RC Toys website and place your order there. The RC Toys Goodyear blimp costs between $50 and $60 not including shipping.

Think used. You may be able to find gently used remote-controlled blimps on the common auction sites, such as eBay, for a great price. Look among remote-controlled vehicle enthusiasts sites, like RC Scrap Yard, too. Remember to ask about warranty information.

Step 4
Go extreme. Like all things, for every 10 common, medium-priced blimps, there is one really amazing top of the industry model. That blimp is the Air Ray. The design allows for more graceful "flying", though outside the lighter design is undesirable with wind and other environmental factors.
