Karaoke Revolution Volume 2 brings back the karaoke fun for PlayStation 2 gamers with a fresh set of songs and the all new Medley Mode. By singing songs accurately and racking up points, you can become the karaoke king of your living room.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Getting Started

Step1
Plug in your microphone or headset to the USB port. Start Karaoke Revolution Volume 2, select multi-player or single player, and select a mode. Enter your name, choose a character and select a difficulty or judging level when prompted.
Step2
Choose a venue if you decided to play Showtime Mode. In Showtime Mode, you have to reach at least gold record status on one song in each venue. Each time you pass a particular venue, the next highest venue will be unlocked. Once you have chosen the venue you are going to play, choose a song from the list of four that you would like to sing.
Step3
Select a venue if you have chosen Medley Mode. Then choose the number of songs you would like to be in your medley. You can select the songs in the order you would like them to be placed into the medley, or hit the circle button to make it completely random.
Step4
Pick a song from the complete list if you are playing Karaoke Mode. Karaoke Mode is just for fun; it is not scored.

Singing

Step1
Get ready to begin singing. Watch the lower part of the screen, as this is where you will know when to come in and will be able to read the lyrics.
Step2
Begin singing when the lyrics and horizontal blue bars touch the vertical line on the left side of the screen. Watch the blue bars to know if you are on pitch and how long to sing each note. A red arrow will show you were you are; the blue bar shows you where you should be. The blue bar will fill up green if you are singing accurately.
Step3
Score points by being as accurate as possible when singing. You are awarded points each measure and given a rating of "great," "good," "OK," "bad" and "lousy." The better you do throughout the song, the more you will please the crowd.
Step4
Double your score on a measure by getting a "great" or "good" rating when the horizontal bars are sparkling. You will get a "Crowd Boost" and will be well on your way to getting a gold or platinum record.
