You're probably familiar with the Pioneer company, a leader in home entertainment. But you may not be familiar with their new product line of Blu-ray DVD players, or even know what Blu-ray technology is. The new "Blu-ray" disc is a recent innovation in data storage that allows several times more data to fit on a single disc for increased image resolution and better control features. Check out Pioneer Blu-ray players for your home entertainment needs.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to the corporate website (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

Move your mouse to the "Home Entertainment" tab to the left and move it right and down to select the "Blu-ray and DVD players" option.

  3. Step 3

Selecting the Blu-ray and DVD link will take you to a specific page where Pioneer outlines the features of the new technology. Ignore the strange logo image on the right and select the "The Player" link to view information about the benefits of Blu-ray technology and other product specs. Also check out the "Tap into your home network" and "Connections options" tabs to find out how to integrate the Blu-ray player into your existing system.

  4. Step 4

To view specific models, position your cursor over the "Blu-ray disc players' tab on the far left, just under the "Blu-ray disc and DVD" heading. A list of model numbers will appear. Click on the one you want to see.

  5. Step 5

Browse the resulting page to find out specific products specs and features on the model you selected.

  6. Step 6

When you are ready to buy, Pioneer offers two ways to purchase the Blu-ray player. You can either use the site's shopping cart system (you'll need to enter relevant credit card information) or use the "Find a Store" feature by entering your zip code and hitting "go" to see a list of nearby retailers.
