Step 1
Plan to collect bartender figurines in all different kinds of mediums to develop a unique collection. Remain open to plastic, tin and ceramic figurines. Mixing up your collection also makes finding a good assortment more manageable.
-
Step 2
Keep an eye open for bartender collectibles in bars and restaurants. Many saloons hang onto memorabilia and decorations from previous owners and can often be talked into selling what they have.
-
Step 3
Request a picture of a figurine before you purchase it online. Your idea of a bartender figurine and someone else's may be quite at odds. You will want to make sure that it at least fits in with the other collectibles you've been acquiring.
-
Step 4
Attend shows and fairs that serve alcohol and cater to motorcyclists, pool players and other rowdy types. There is more of a chance that someone will sell bar paraphernalia at these types of events than at a tea party event or juried art fair.
-
Step 5
Check out the accessories shelves at alcohol vendors and motorcycle and pool shops. Pool players are notorious for decorating their homes to resemble pool halls, and usually stores that sell pool tables and cues offer an assortment of bartender figurines to complete the look.
