Throw a Presidents' Day party to celebrate the birthdays of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln while all honoring all of the presidents who have served in the White House. This holiday is in February.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Decorate for the party with red, white and blue and pictures or caricatures of Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. Consider having campaign buttons and hats that go along with a Presidents Day party. You can throw the party at any time and it can take any form, but Presidents Day barbecues and picnics are traditional.

  2. Step 2

Come up with all-American activities for the party that will be fun for everyone to take part in. Potato sack races, pie eating contests, horseshoes and baking competitions are as red, white and blue as it gets. Play patriotic music, such as marching band selections, in the background. If you can get permits, have a fireworks display.

  3. Step 3

Have food and refreshments for the party such as red, white, and blue colored cupcakes, ahot dogs and hamburgers. You can also get Presidents Day cups and plates with patriotic themes.

Tips & Warnings
  • Presidents Day party supplies can sometimes be difficult to get. You can also use 4th of July party favors to go with the patriotic theme. Ordering 4th of July party favors are also cheaper when ordering them well before July.
