Collages are great to put on your website, use for your holiday cards or send to others as a collection of memories. You can learn to create a collage image in Paint Shop Pro in just a few minutes.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Open a blank canvas. Choose a large size to print or a small size to email or put on your website. Select a background color that complements your images.

  2. Step 2

Select the pictures you want to include. The pictures should revolve around a theme, such as your child's high school graduation or some recent gathering. Open all of the pictures you are including as separate documents.

  3. Step 3

Alter the pictures to fit the collage. Crop them to include only the important parts, such as the Eiffel Tower in the background of your French vacation picture. Adjust the color to make the picture vibrant.

  4. Step 4

Play with the pictures. Paint Shop Pro has features that let you blur the edges of the pictures or alter them in other, often quirky ways. Collages are works of art, so you should experiment.

  5. Step 5

Move the pictures to the canvas. Once you have finished the picture, copy and paste it as a new layer on the collage canvas. Position the picture, using the directional changes and other features to make the collage look like a work of art.

  6. Step 6

Choose "Merge" from the "Layers" menu when the pictures are in place. Use this feature to place the pictures into a single layer, which will make the file easier to compress and download on your site or through email.
