Instructions

    • 1

Remove polish using cotton balls or pads and non-acetone polish remover.

    • 2

Soak your feet for five to ten minutes in a warm (not hot) foot bath. For an extra treat, add half a cup of Epsom salts to the water to relax and refresh your feet.

    • 3

Pat your feet dry with a towel, paying extra attention to the spaces in between your toes.

    • 4

Slough away dead skin using a pumice stone. Rub gently in a circular motion, paying extra attention to your heels and the balls of your feet.

    • 5

Trim your toenails using toenail clippers. Cut straight across to help prevent ingrown toenails.

    • 6

File your toenails with an emery board. File straight across, gently rounding the edges. Do not file down the sides of your nails.

    • 7

Clean under your nails using the pointed end of an orange stick.

    • 8

Rinse your feet with warm water to wash off any dead skin and emery board dust. Pat your feet dry again.

    • 9

Use the flattened end of the orange stick to push back overgrown cuticles. Massage a drop of essential oil (such as almond or coconut) into the cuticle.

    • 10

Massage a rich foot lotion into your feet. Concentrate on your heels, and the balls of your feet, as these areas are especially prone to calluses.

    • 11

Slip your feet into a fresh pair of white cotton socks. The socks will help your skin absorb the lotion to moisturize and replenish your feet.

    • 12

Kick back, relax and put your feet up.
