Many employers allow employees to decorate their offices at their discretion. However, creativity maybe limited depending on workplace culture. The size of the office is also a factor in considering décor within the office. There are a few guidelines that can determine how to decorate a small office at work.

on 12/13/2008 If you cannot paint on a wall but crave color-get a thin large plywood piec of wood, paint that a nuetral color (trim with a darker or complementary color by taping of around the edges and painting a 'frame' around in a 2-3 inch strip)hang with small nails on the wall and use that as a background for small prinyts, calendar, etc.-I use larger peices of plywood when decorating , for example my 5 year old granduaghter's bedroom, she wanted pink walls but lives in an aprtment with my sister and they can't paint the walls, but I could hang the wood and created a heart shaped chalkboard as well directly on the wood in a corner and covered large peices of cardboard w/ fabric to create a girly patch work design with hues of pinks on the other wall-added hooks to a few squares for her coat and smaller hooks in another square for hewr necklaces etc. plywood and cardboard my favorites to add colo
