Like most competitive sports, arm wrestling is largely determined by the ability to psyche out your opponent. In this endeavor it is important to remember the need to play up your own physical advantages while exploiting your opponent's inferiority.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Approach the arm wrestling arena with swagger. The appearance of confidence, even if it isn't naturally there, will contribute to an immediate advantage.
Step2
Look your opponent directly in the eye and be careful not to blink or allow him to think he has in any way succeeded in psyching you out. These first few moments can make a world of difference.
Step3
Sit down at the table and place your hand in the proper position before your opponent can do likewise. This willingness to jump directly to the show will help you in your quest to psyche out your arm wrestling opponent.
Step4
Mock your opponent with some observation of their physical inferiority. This can sometimes make the opponent more determined to defeat you, but it can also psyche them out and cause them to doubt their own confidence.
Step5
Exploit any physical advantage you possess, particularly if your arm is significantly longer than your opponent's. There is an adage that says someone who isn't cheating simply isn't trying hard enough.
Step6
Retain your confident demeanor once the arm wrestling match has concluded. Regardless of whether or not you are victorious, an attitude of total disdain helps you successfully psyche out your arm wrestling opponent.
