3. Get a release. Before you sell your photographs online, you must have a signed release form from anyone who appears in the photo. The same goes for property or trademarked items, so be careful where you shoot.

4. Find the right stock photo site. There are dozens of stock photo sites that would love to have your photos, but they're not all created equal. Some of them are more popular than others and will get you a much bigger paycheck, so shop around.
