Without a way to organize activities and tasks, projects would fall into mayhem. Many teams use software like Microsoft Project to keep track of timelines, schedules and sub-projects. You can use this software to create structure and maintain authority over your projects.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Choose "Help" from the main menu or hit the key "Alt" and the key "H." The first item listed within the extended menu is "Microsoft Project Help." Click on this option, press the "Ctrl" key and the "H" key or hit "F1" to find Project topics.
Step2
Look for topics by typing in a keyword over in the sidebar or click on the "Table of Contents" feature within the sidebar to use "Help" for finding topics. Select "Search For," enter a keyword and each related topic appears.
Step3
Make use of the "Table of Contents" option to find topics categorized. Click the "Back" or "Forward" buttons (or green arrow icons) at the top of the side bar to go back-and-forth.
Step4
Select other features, such as"Show the Office Assistant," "Detect and Repair" and "Microsoft Office Online." Choose your character for "Office Assistant" and utilize it when you're not sure what to do in Project. "Detect and Repair" will locate and repair errors automatically. "Microsoft Office Online" will connect you to the Microsoft Office website.
Step5
Click on "Help" to automatically bring up "Microsoft Office Online" in the sidebar. Click the "Assistance," "Training," "Communities" or "Downloads" links for further help and other information. Select "Training" to connect to "Free self-paced training courses" and get training via your web browser. Visit "Project 2007 Courses" for audio tutorials with visuals.
Step6
Find other information on websites, such as "Computer Technical Tutorials" and "Project Management with Microsoft Project."
