How to Sign up for an Etsy Account

Etsy is a great site on the Internet for people who love handmade arts and crafts. With an account, you can start looking at all the great sellers and items that Etsy has to offer. With your account, you can save a list of your favorite items and sellers, contact other people on Etsy and start purchasing some great, one of a kind items. Instructions

1. Go to the Etsy website. Click on the "Register" link located at the top of the page on the right-hand side.

2. Fill out the registration information. This includes the user name you want to use for Etsy, your password, email and how you heard about Etsy.

3. Read the three golden resolutions of Etsy. These are: Emails from Etsy will never have links in them; emails from Etsy will never have file attachments; and Etsy will never ask for your password or credit card information in an email.

4. Read the terms of use. A link to the terms of use can be found at the bottom of the registration page. If you agree with both the golden rules and terms of use, click on the box stating that.

5. Click "Submit."

6. Check your email. Etsy sends a registration email to your email account to ensure that you have access to the email that you provided. Open the email that they sent, and click on the link provided to activate your account. This activates your account on Etsy.
