Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Clean the cotton candy maker before you use it. There may be leftover residue from the last time that you operated the machine.

  2. Step 2

Assemble the components of the maker by using the enclosed instructions. Cotton candy makers are usually easy to put together and only require that you attach the bowl to the base.

  3. Step 3

Plug in the maker and allow it to warm up. Ten minutes should be adequate.

  4. Step 4

Measure out two scoops of sugar with the measuring cup included with the maker. Add a few drops of food coloring to make colored cotton candy. Mix the sugar and food coloring together before you add them to the machine.

  5. Step 5

Wait 3 to 5 minutes before serving the cotton candy. Use a paper cone to wind the finished cotton candy around.

  6. Step 6

Turn the maker off and clean it right away. Wash all parts of the machine with warm water and a sponge. Clean the maker immediately after use to prevent hard-to-remove stains from forming.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you use pure sugar with a cotton candy maker. Any other types of sugar will not make cotton candy.
