Baseball caps have expanded so much from just the ones worn by baseball teams. People are not only designing different types of caps, but also finding new ways to wear them. For someone who can never leave the house without a cap on the head, collecting baseball caps can be the perfect hobby. Here is how to make a hobby out of buying baseball caps.

Finding Caps

1. Find stores that specialize in selling caps, so you can find several different types. Such stores can usually be found in shopping malls.
2. Shop in sportswear stores and team shops. Each store can have different styles for you to collect.
3. Look through sports catalogs. They usually have a section devoted to caps, and some may be exclusive to their catalog.
4. Go to baseball games. Is there any place better to find caps?

Storage and Display

5. Decide how your caps should be organized. Sorting them by make, model and design (and team) are just a few ways. Use your own style and flair.
6. Get hat racks, holders and anything else that will display your caps. A home storage shop should have a variety of options.
7. Fold the caps in on themselves from the back. You can then stack them on one another, storing as many as ten in one space.
8. Decide which caps to wear and when. Choosing by the season (baseball, football, basketball) and color of your corresponding clothes is usually the best way to go.
