How to Save a Page in Dreamweaver
Saving your work on a regular basis while working in any type of software is necessary. There is no exception for Dreamweaver. If you haven't previously saved a document in Dreamweaver, you will need to name it and choose where on your computer you wish to save it. Dreamweaver gives you the option of saving just your current page or all pages you have open. Read on to learn how to save a Dreamweaver page.

Save the Current Page

Choose the "File" menu and click on "Save." If you have already named your document, the document will save under the same name when you do this. If this is your first time, saving the "Save As" dialog box will open.

Select what drive and folder you would like to save the Dreamweaver document in using the "Save in" drop-down menu at the top of the dialog box.

Type the name you would like to use to save your document in the "File name" text box near the bottom of the of dialog box.

Click the "Save" button to save your current page and close the "Save As" dialog box.
Save All Open Pages

Choose the "File" menu and click on "Save All." This will save all of the Dreamweaver pages you currently have open. If you have not named all or some of the pages you will see a "Save As" dialog box.

Select the drive and folder you wish to save any new documents using the "Save in" drop-down menu near the top of the dialog box.

Type the name you wish to use to save the first document in the "File name" text box.

Click the "Save" button to save that page and close the "Save As" dialog box for that page.

Set where you want to save and the names of other new documents as the "Save As" dialog box pops up for each unsaved document.

Tips & Warnings
Use the keyboard shortcut of CTRL+S or click the disk icon on the Standard toolbar to quickly open the "Save As" dialog box.
An asterisk will appear in the title bar of your document if you have changed the document since the last time you saved it.
