Using Photoshop Elements is not only a great way to store and organize your photos, but it also provides several project options, like creating album pages. This project allows you to combine photos, text, graphics and layout to artistically display your photos. You can create as many album pages as you have photos and ideas. Read on to learn how to create album pages with Elements.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Begin using Photoshop Elements. "Photo Album Pages" is one of the projects listed in the "Make Photo Creations" menu. The Project wizard makes it easy to create an album page one step at a time. Selecting "Photo Album Pages" and clicking "OK" starts the wizard, allowing you to begin the creative process.

  2. Step 2

Choose a layout. There are several options for how you want your album pages to look. By clicking on the styles on the right side of your screen, you get to preview the layout. Check them all out before deciding which one you want for your project.

  3. Step 3

Know your options. At the bottom of the screen you'll see your options listed–title page, captions, page numbers, header, footer. Check the ones you want to include in your project. Also, choose the number of pictures you want on each page, using the drop-down menu provided.

  4. Step 4

Select your photos. The next step in the project is to add your photos. The photo selection catalogue allows you to choose from any photos you have stored on your computer. Choose the ones you want and click "OK."

  5. Step 5

Arrange your photos. You can change the order of the photos by dragging them in the layout window. Each photo appears with a label for what page it will be on. When you drag them around, they re-label accordingly.

  6. Step 6

Add captions. If you chose captions as an option, Photoshop will prompt you to add text to each page. Double-clicking the sample text opens an editor window where you can add your own captions and change the color, font and size of the text, if you like.

  7. Step 7

Finish the project. The next step prompts you to name and save your project.
