Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 4- to 6-inch tall candle
  • Rhinestones
  • Stud covers
  • 1 tea light
  1. Step 1

Choose or make a design for your candle. The easiest way to do this is to draw or print a design from the computer and then wrap it around the candle to make sure it fits. This design is not be placed on the candle but is a guide for you to use. Another option is to draw the design onto the candle with a felt tip pen or a pencil if you want a template.

  2. Step 2

Place the rhinestones inside the stud covers. The stud covers are the backs of the rhinestones that are used to put them onto jeans or fabric.

  3. Step 3

Press the first rhinestone into the candle. No glue is needed. The wax holds the stud into place. Continue placing the studs onto the candle until the design is finished.

  4. Step 4

Burn the candle in the center. When it has burned down the middle about half way but before it gets far enough down for the rhinestones to fall out, place a tea light into the center. This preserves the candle and allows the candle to last much longer.
