How to Save Web Pages on Furl

Furl is a social bookmarking site that connects members to other user's bookmarks. By using Furl, you can save a copy of any web page onto their site for review at a later date. You can keep your bookmarks private or share them with other members. Furl's services are free to use.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Create an account with Furl. Before you can begin saving your pages, you have to sign up with Furl. Fill out the registration form and agree to the site's terms of service.

  2. Step 2

    Check your email. You'll receive an email from Furl after you register your email address and username. Click on the link to activate your account.

  3. Step 3

    Install Furl onto your browser. You need to install Furl before you can save your bookmarks. You have several installation options. You have Furl with a pop up blocker or a faster version that allows you to quickly save web pages.

  4. Step 4

    Go to a web page that you wish to save. Notice that you have a "Furl It" button at the top of your browser window. Click on the button to add the web page to your bookmarks.

  5. Step 5

    Use the options to manage your bookmarks. With Furl, you can add comments to your saved web pages, put in a date and category before you save it on Furl.

Tips & Warnings
  • Furl can be installed and works on most browsers. Tested browsers include Firefox, Netscape and Internet Explorer.
  • You can view your saved bookmarks and change any options by going to your Furl archives page.
