How to Share Photos on Webshots

Webshots is a popular photo sharing site that allows users to display their personal photos and videos with other members. There are millions of photos on the site and the service is free to use. You can share your digital photos on Webshots by completing a few simple steps.

Instructions

1. Start on the Webshots homepage (see Resources below). You need to sign in or create a free account to share your photos. Registration takes a few minutes and requires you to fill out some basic information about yourself.
2. Continue by selecting "Upload" from the main menu. You can also choose to upload photos on the "Albums" page of your personal profile.
3. Add the photos that you wish to share through Webshots. You can select multiple photos to upload.
4. Choose the album to store the photo and place tags next to it. The tags are used by members who wish to search for certain photos.
5. Put in a caption. You are asked if you wish to set the photo to private or public. If you wish to share the photos, select the public option.
6. Send the photo to your friends. After the upload is complete, you can send a free photo postcard through Webshots.

Tips & Warnings

• You do have capacity limitations when using Webshots. You can't have more than a thousand photos stored on the site at one time.
• When you are uploading photos to Webshots, make sure that they are the right file type. Webshots accepts JPG and JPEG formatted picture files.
