How to Send an E-Card From FreeGreetings

FreeGreetings.com is a site that is owned and operated by the Hallmark card company. This site offers visitors a chance to send fun and original e-cards to friends and family members. The cards are free to send and will be sure to brighten up the recipient's day.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Start on the FreeGreetings homepage (see Resources below). You can also find this page through the main Hallmark page under "E-cards."

  2. Step 2

    Sign in to your account. If you have yet to create one, you need to do this now before continuing any further. FreeGreetings and Hallmark only require that you put in a username, password and your email address.

  3. Step 3

    Browse the categories to find the e-card that you wish to send. Categories include birthday, holidays, humor, anytime, special collections and favorite characters.

  4. Step 4

    Click "Personalize" once you find a card that you wish to send. Put in the recipient's information as well as any special message that you wish to write. You can choose multiple recipients to receive the card.

  5. Step 5

    Preview the card before you send it. You should look it over to check for spelling errors and to make sure you like the way that it looks. After your preview, you can send it with the option to be notified when it is viewed.

Tips & Warnings
  • There are premium e-cards available on the site. These cards cost $1.49 each to send.
  • When you create an account with FreeGreetings, you can save addresses on the site to be used for future e-cards.
  • If you wish to send photo cards, you'll have to download the free application beforehand.
