How to Walk Sexy

Being or feeling sexy is only partly about how you look--it's also about your attitude. One of the best ways to display a sexy attitude is by the way you walk. With a little practice, you can walk just like a supermodel strutting down the catwalk or like a sexy celebrity in a slinky evening gown walking on the red carpet. Here are some tips to make you walk in a sexy way.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Stand tall. Pull your shoulders back and roll your pelvis forward. It should feel a little like you're leaning backward.

  2. Step 2

Take a long step forward by lifting your heel from the floor first, then the ball of your foot. Bend your knee, keep your foot flexed forward, and set it down in front of the center of your body. Set the ball of your foot down first.

  3. Step 3

Take another step in the same manner, setting your foot down directly in front of your other foot as if you're walking on a tightrope.

  4. Step 4

Continue in this manner, making sure that each step is as long as you can make it without throwing yourself off balance. You should sway in an alluring manner as you walk, but you shouldn't wobble. Try to keep your head from bobbing up and down as you walk.

  5. Step 5

Turn on the balls of your feet, keeping your head facing forward as your body changes direction, then letting it come around quickly.

Tips & Warnings
  • There really isn't a sexy walk for men; just stand tall and walk without lumbering. Of course, a man can always strut like John Travolta in "Saturday Night Fever," but he really needs the right, clothes, attitude and music to accomplish this.
