Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Ask your doctor. Infant growth charts are in abundant supply at the doctor's office. Your pediatrician might be willing to give you a copy, or he can direct you to find one yourself. You might also ask if you can bring your baby in for a weight check to make sure you have the right measurements when you're tracking everything yourself.
Step2
Visit your local library or bookstore. Books are available that give you specific instructions on how to measure and weigh your child at home. Also included in these books is a growth chart that you can use to track your baby's development.
Step3
Find software to calculate your baby's growth. You can find this software online or at your favorite software store. This software allows you to create 3D growth charts, and they're designed so you can put them on the web. This makes it easy for family and friends to watch your baby grow.
Step4
Download charts available online. Charts are available through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (see Resources below). Find the chart that's designed for your baby's gender and age. Growth percentile calculators are also available where you can insert your baby's numbers and it will calculate the baby's growth percentile for you.
