Dominaria is the fantasy world of Magic the Gathering, ruled by the mana elements of green, black, red, white and blue. Each color utilizes its own set of creatures and spells, using a unique style to dominate the game. Blue is the element of the islands, using the power of sea and air creatures and countering magic with mystical djinns.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Use your dominating talents of thought and reason to dominate and control the game. Blue can be a hefty challenger as you have the ability to cast control spells, stopping your opponents in their tracks. Use your Rush of Knowledge to draw lots of cards in one turn and bounce permanents back at your enemies hands, disrupting their strategies and paving your way to victory.

  2. Step 2

Undo the work of your opponents, or send it back to them by using your Boomerang or Unsummon spells. You can even use Upheaval to complete both actions in one fail swoop, a fast way to gain a win. Mana Link, Power Sink and Counterspell are more great ways to weaken your enemies.

  3. Step 3

Practice patience when playing with blue, as you must spend a lot more than other colors to create your expensive creature base. However, if you are patient and can hang around for a long time in order to win, you can use blue to control the game and win.

  4. Step 4

Look for creatures in other colors to help you out if you don't have the patience to wait to win through thought, reason and control. Blue can enlist the creatures of any other color, using their powers of destruction or blocking to help you gain a foothold on victory.

  5. Step 5

Identify your enemies and allies in order to increase your strength and chances for winning. Blue has no direct opponent, meaning all other colors are enemies unless enlisted as a helping hand. In addition to using the creatures of other colors, you might consider joining forces with green, green and white, or if you are feeling destructive, green and black to increase your power, speed and likelihood of winning Magic the Gathering.
