How to Play Blackjack Press

In Blackjack Press, an unconventional twist on the classic gambling game, the player receives two hands and then decides which one to "press." This game is a fun variation on the original, especially since it allows players to have more control in the fate of the game. Things You'll Need:

• Deck of playing cards
• Knowledge of standard blackjack rules

Dealing the Game

1. Deal each player two hands. Each hand has two cards to start out with, and cards should be dealt facing up.

2. Give yourself two cards, one facing up and the other facing down.

3. Wait for the players to place their Press bet on one of their hands. Whichever hand they choose is the one you deal to.

4. Follow standard blackjack rules from that point on.

5. Pay out on the initial hand wager and the Press bet if the player's hand wins. Pay out 1 to 1 on a blackjack.

Playing the Game

6. Place an equal wager on both hands and the Press bet and then wait for your cards to be dealt.

7. Decide which hand you think has a better chance of winning.

8. Put your Press bet on the hand you want to play. You will now play on that hand and the other hand becomes void.

9. Play the rest of the game as you would a standard blackjack game. You win if your hand beats the dealer's.

• If the first four cards dealt to a player are all the same color, the player forfeits their Press bet and loses the hand.
