Become familiar with the various laws concerning child pornography. Look online for the current laws or contact an attorney for more information on the legal specifications.

Know that the definition of child pornography is any sexually explicit or violent imagery involving a minor (under 18 years old). Learn that any production, distribution, creation or issuing of this material is in direct violation of legal code.

Look for any indication on the suspected pornography for adherence to the legal codes of pornography and explicit imagery distribution. Pay special attention to whether the publication or website can provide documentation of the ages of its models and participants.

Report the website or publication after checking for this material. If it is a website, contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation with the web address or name of the publication in question. Report the website or publication to the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection as well.
-
5
Join ASACP (Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection) to help the cause. Also look into other organizations that promote the reporting of child pornography. Check international sources for reporting child pornography if the website or publication is from a different country.
