You've got a problem. The family went and left you all alone and you decided to spend your time in front of your computer browsing the billions of porn related websites out there, and now you're afraid your family could find out. Don't worry, these steps can help you erase all the damning evidence against you from Internet Explorer 7.0 or later.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Click on the gold star in the upper left-hand corner of your browser window. A new page should open that has three buttons at the top: "Favorites," "Feeds" and "History."
Step2
Click on the "History" button to get a list of all the websites you've visited on this computer over a period of time. Visits are listed by day.
Step3
Right-click on the file labeled "Today" and click on delete.
Step4
Click on "Tools" and then "Internet Options" in the upper right-hand corner of the browser window.
Step5
Click the "Delete" Button under "Browsing History." It is the second section down on the "General" tab.
Step6
Click on "Delete Files" under under "Temporary Internet Files." This is where Internet Explorer keeps all those movies you just watched.
Step7
Click on "Delete Cookies" under the "Cookies" section. Now you have completely erased your steps. Simply close out all of your windows.

Tips & Warnings

  • Clear the last played cache from your movie viewer. This is simple--just play something else and then close it out. This way if someone were to open the player (i.e. Windows Media Player or RealPlayer) and hit play, they won't be exposed to what you watched last.
  • Don't click on the "Delete All Files" button in the "Internet Options" menu. If your family likes to use the drop down feature in Internet Explore when typing in web addresses in the address bar, deleting all files also deletes all of their saved web addresses. This can cause unwanted questions and aggravation for your family.
