Step 1
Plan out how big you would like your finished Tommy to be. Draw an oval. Now draw three lines through it. Two of the lines should divide your oval into two equal parts. The third line should divide your oval into about half other parts.
-
Step 2
Draw Tommy's head. His head should fit into one of the larger parts of your oval. Like the other Rugrats, Tommy has an oval head. He also has a long grin, two round eyes and a nose that looks like a backwards C.
-
Step 3
Sketch Tommy's body. Tommy's body should fit into one of the larger sections of your oval. His body is shaped like a pear, wide on the bottom and narrow at the top. Be careful, though. Tommy's head should be wider than his body.
-
Step 4
Create rectangles for Tommy's arms and legs. His arms come out at the top of his pear shaped body. His legs come out just before his bottom starts to curve upward.
-
Step 5
Add feet and hands at the end of the rectangles you drew in Step 4. You can draw his hands by making five little triangles for fingers on each one. His feet a like two little triangles too. Make a triangle off of each leg, but make sure you draw in lines for toes.
-
Step 6
Finish by drawing Tommy's diaper and T-shirt. Once you put some clothes on him, your drawing of Tommy is done.
