Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Set a limit. It's easy to lose track of how much you are spending and get caught up in the excitement of the moment. Only bring the amount of cash you plan to spend. Leave credit cards and ATM cards in your room. Don't get in over your head and know when to quit.
Step2
Play the slots at Harrah's. This large casino has more than 900 slot machines. Various denominations are available to play. If finances are tight play the nickel progressive Wheel of Fortune slot machine. If the sky is the limit in terms of spending there are plenty of high stake slots. Harrah's also has frequent slot tournaments to participate in.
Step3
Obtain a free players card. The free card is offered at most of the large casinos such as The Eldorado Casino. Card members earn rewards such as, tickets to shows and complimentary rooms. The card is used every time you play the slots and points are earned depending on how much you spend. It's a good way to get something back as you gamble.
Step4
Try your hand at a table game such as blackjack or roulette. Casinos such as John Ascuaga's Nugget and Circus Circus have dozens of table games where you can try your luck. Minimum bets vary.
Step5
Take a behind the scenes gaming tour. You won't learn any secrets to winning millions, but you'll get a chance to learn how the gambling industry operates. It will provide an interesting break from gambling your money.
