Instructions
  1. Step 1

Buy tickets to the annual X Games and arrive a few days early. This is the simplest way to attend practice sessions for the X Games. The courses are set and the participants must practice on the official course for a few days before the event.

  2. Step 2

Follow the upcoming events in extreme sports magazines. Each X Games sport has one or more magazines devoted to the sports' athletes and events. Subscribe to one of the magazines or browse through their websites. The most up-to-date event information, including practice sessions, is readily available.

  3. Step 3

Volunteer for an X Games event. Volunteers are needed for every X Games event, and often the promoters will hire dozens of local people for weeks before an X Games event. Some athletes prefer to have their practices closed to the general public.

  4. Step 4

Contact a corporate sponsor. Corporations sponsor X Games events in order to promote their products. Corporations have special promotional events around their sponsored athletes and this often includes some impromptu practice sessions.

  5. Step 5

Write to X Game athletes directly and ask to watch their practices for an upcoming event. Many experienced X Games athletes are very friendly towards their fans and will pose for a few photos also. Athletes can be contacted through their various corporate sponsors.

Tips & Warnings
