Step1
Offer free shipping. There is little more that an eBay customer enjoys more than free shipping. This not only lowers the cost of their item, it also encourages them to buy more. This is because they can keep track of exactly what they are spending without having to worry about estimating shipping costs.
Step2
Send coupons to your customers. This is a sure way to get one-time customers to return and make another purchase. Plus, once they are in the "door," they are more likely to purchase other items that you have for sale.
Step3
Include a free gift when shipping out purchases. The gifts can be something small and inexpensive, but they will still help your customers to see that their business is appreciated, and they will remember your gesture the next time they are cruising eBay.
Step4
Assign loyalty points to each purchase. Your customers can collect points through purchases with you and when they reach a set amount, they can cash them in for a "gift card" or discount off their next purchase.
Step5
Give referral bonuses. This is a great way to not only reward your current customers, but to collect new customers as well. Great referral bonus ideas include "gift cards" and discount coupons.
