Things You'll Need:

  • Camera
  • Printer
  • Photo software
  1. Step 1

Purchase a good quality digital camera. You should look for a camera that has from 5 to 7 mega pixels. This tells you how many dots per inch the camera will resolve to. The higher the number, the better quality the picture.

  2. Step 2

Select a photo printer to create your top quality photos. Regular printers are good for text but you need a special printer that is made for printing pictures.

  3. Step 3

Choose photo software to enhance the photos you take with your camera. Create special effects or just lighten or darken the picture. Erase that nasty red eye every time. Most printers and cameras come with photo software, so check to see what you have before you buy.

  4. Step 4

Follow the rules of photography for taking good pictures. But in case you goof, you can still create top quality photos from your mistakes by using your photo software to edit your pictures.

  5. Step 5

Take your picture. Download it to your computer. Import it into your software program. Then edit, print and create top quality photos every time.
