If they have a website, this is the best place to find out all you can about the club before you call to inquire about membership. Don't' forget to see if they take trips to campgrounds that are similar to those that you are interested in going to. Try online social groups to start a club in your area.

Call the contact numbers to find out more about the RV camping clubs that you are interested in joining. You may want to ask bout several rules and policies, including expectations, fees and other requirements.

Go on a camping trip with a club or two, if possible, to see if they are a good match for you. Compare notes about each club, describing what you like and don't like about each one.
