How to Create a Font

Each of us has our own unique handwriting. A font is our unique handwriting on the computer. Font is our style, our creativity. The computer is programmed with a default font but this can be changed to reflect the individual using the computer. Size, shape and color can all be changed. Read on to learn how to create your own unusual font.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Change the basic font using your computer settings. This is the easiest way to change font size and color for beginners.

  2. Step 2

    Go to "tools" on the menu bar at the top of your screen. From the drop down box, choose "Internet options." This will open the "general" tab.

  3. Step 3

    Choose "fonts" from the general tab. This is located near the bottom of the screen. This will open a new box. You will see "web page font" and "plain text font" on this page. Choose from these to change how you view your web pages.

  4. Step 4

    Select "colors" next, also on the general tab near the bottom, next to fonts, and change the color of your font. Now you will see the web pages in the size, shape and color you prefer.

  5. Step 5

    Download a "create font" program from the many free ones available or buy one if you choose. Open the program and follow the easy instructions. Each program comes with its own features and easy to use controls.

  6. Step 6

    Write with your own handwriting by using a "create a font" program. You can also create logos and use the many other features. Preview your font to be sure first before installing them on your windows system.
