Step 1
Choose the Zoombinis program you want to use and insert the CD into the disk drive. The software will open. Begin playing.

Read the Parent's Guide that explains how to use each puzzle. This way if your kids get stuck you can help them figure out what to do. Play the game yourself first, and then with your kids.

Step 3
Begin playing the game with the first adventure. The Zoombinis have a dozen obstacles in their path and must overcome each, one at a time. Play continues using logic and trial and error to solve each obstacle.

Step 4
Challenge the children by encouraging them to play together and use their logic and reasoning skills. This also instills sharing and teamwork skills, as the children have to work together to solve the problems.

Step 5
Give hints about what to do if your child gets stuck instead of just giving the correct answer. Encourage your child to think about the problem and use his problem solving skills to figure it out.

Step 6
Encourage your child to play Zoombinis often. The software challenges his mind while your child has fun.
