Get a four-year college degree with a major in liberal arts, business or the sciences. Make sure to take classes related to business and law, if possible, to help prepare yourself for law school.

2
Take the LSAT test, which is an aptitude test for entrance to law school. You may need to prepare for the test using texts or courses that will help you do well on the test. Passing this test with a good score is essential to your future as an accident lawyer.

Apply to law schools of your choice. They will evaluate you based on your LSAT scores, college grades and extracurricular activities to determine if you should be accepted. It is always good to apply to top schools, as well as "safety" schools. You can always choose which you want to attend if you get accepted by more than one school.

Attend law school. This usually takes three years for those attending full-time during the day or four years for those attending night school. It is important to work hard and keep your grades up, so that you don't sink to the bottom of your class or even flunk out.

5
Pass the state bar exam in the state you want to practice in. This is essential before you can practice law in any capacity.
-
6
Do an internship at a law firm that specializes in accident law, also known as personal injury. Get experience in this type of law and gradually work your way up so you can join a high-profile firm or even start your own law firm someday.
