Wearing a bandanna as a skull cap is not only trendy, it's also a great way to cover up a bad hair day. Celebrities in Hollywood love the bandanna as a skull cap trend; even the hottest celebrities are photographed with their bandanna skull caps daily. Making a bandanna into a skull cap is fairly easy and quick.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Fold the bandanna diagonally so that one tip is about five inches from the other tip. The bandanna will be a strange five-cornered shape.

  2. Step 2

Place this folded bandanna around the head. Center the bandanna on the forehead, and pull the ends around to the back of the head. The longest side of the bandanna should be on top, so that the shorter side is hidden.

  3. Step 3

Tie the ends together. The knot should be a square knot. Basically, tie the ends right over left then left over right. The opposite tying ensures it won't come loose. This will keep the skull cap fitted on the head.

  4. Step 4

Tuck in extra fabric. In the back, there will be some extra fabric hanging down. Tuck it under the knot and the ends. This creates the skull cap look. No loose ends should be hanging out.

  5. Step 5

Make adjustments for smaller heads. In this case, simply fold the bandanna into a triangle, instead of leaving five inches between the tips. If this is too tight, try different lengths for the distance between the tips, and a proper fit will be found.
