Royal Caribbean International, founded in 1968, operates 21 ships that sail throughout the Caribbean, Europe, Mexico, Alaska and other destinations around the world. The line's newest additions, Liberty of the Seas and Freedom of the Seas, are the largest passenger vessels in the world. Royal Caribbean offers many unique features, several of which are detailed below.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Enjoy a cocktail and the view in the Windjammer Cafe. The Windjammer Cafe is Royal Caribbean's signature lounge, located on the top deck and offering a sweeping 360 degree view of the ocean below. It's a favorite meeting place on all of the ships.
Step2
Relax in a whirlpool overlooking the sea. The newest Royal Caribbean ships feature two whirlpools cantilevered over either side of the ship, offering spectacular, 180-degree views.
Step3
Splash around in the H2O Zone. Many of Royal Caribbean's ships feature an H2O Zone water park, complete with ground geysers, water slides, a series of pools and other water attractions.
Step4
Try your skill with the FlowRider. One of the most popular features on the newer Royal Caribbean ships is the FlowRider, a on-board surfing simulator that gives guests an opportunity to learn how to surf right in the middle of the ocean.
Step5
Be as active as you like. Royal Caribbean ships are noted for their wide variety of activities. In addition to the FlowRider mentioned above, the newer ships in the fleet offer a rock-climbing wall, a full ice-skating rink, a basketball court and a putting green.
